2025 was BBM’s first year!! We hosted a showcase to present Musical Theater work by up-and-coming creatives.
For 2026 we are adding on an additional night of shows as well as various other exciting new changes to the program! The 2026 BBM Spring Showcase will be May 10, 11, & 12 at The Riverside Theatre.
Applications for Choreographers for the 2026 BBM Spring Showcase will open December 8th, 2025!
This is an annual opportunity that is free to participate.
Past participants are welcomed to apply— but we will prioritize new choreographers.

Things for choreographers to know!
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Maybe you have done a choreography showcase or two, maybe you have choreographed at small theater in your hometown, or perhaps you choreographed a high school musical. As long as you do not have significant experience in choreographing/assisting/associating at large regional theaters or in the city, this is the spot for you.
WHAT IS THIS?
Submit an application to create and present work at our Spring Showcase. Work is a maximum of 8-minutes long, and should be a representation of a full-musical number that would be found in a piece of musical theater. Pieces are asked to include singing in an effort for the choreographer to learn how to collaborate with a Music Director. Performers should be directed through singing, acting, and choreography to produce this performance. The Spring Showcase will be May 10, 11, & 12, 2026 at The Riverside Theater.

BBM is so grateful to have a resident Music Director with our team.
HOW DOES CASTING WORK?
After a round of Virtual Auditions, overseen by the producers, the choreographers will be able to select their casts from a day of in-person callbacks.
HOW WILL REHEARSALS BE SCHEDULED?
Choreographers will be given a reimbursement stipend for their rehearsals. Rehearsal schedules will be confirmed before casting performers begins.
